I haven't been doing nearly as much art lately, so you'll have to settle for these shoe auctions. Not quite as glamorous, I know, but sometimes that's how it goes. You go into a restaurant expecting travertine tiles, granite tabletops, crystal chandeliers...and you get linoleum flooring, cracked vinyl tables and plastic lamp shades. I am in the process of inventing new paintings in my head. Lately I've been checking out some other artists stuff for inspiration and I'm getting excited about a few ideas of my own.

We'll see what happens with those ideas. Hopefully I will have fully formed pictures to proudly display on yonder blog. I already have the frames and the masonite cut to size. I just need to prime them and then create massively original art that is the balls. Could be tricky.

Still here...

Can you believe this crap? I am one of several million blogists who have had to put up a post saying that they are still alive, still interested in bloggin, but just don't have the time. Well, that's partially true in my case, I suppose.

I am taking an online class in preparation for my degree-completion program later this fall. I am working on home improvements at Melissa's house still...probably will be for a year. But that place is going to be six-kinds of kick ass when we're done. Also I have been super-crazy-busy at work, so I normally don't have much time to spare during the day. When I get home I all working out, getting stone cold ripped (just kidding) for the day soccer starts again. That day, by the way, is April 23, 2006.

I did hit my weight goal for soccer already. I am down to 194, and still falling, so I got myself some new boots, new shorts, and a new ball. The shoes and shorts are different from the ones I posted earlier, but I got that Nike Total 90 - 400 ball. It's tasty. The shoes I picked up are Kelme; they're white and blue, and are all kangaroo leather and whatnot. Very, very supple. One might say they are the cat's ass.

Shit...I don't know what else to say at the moment. Except perhaps, to note, upon recent inquiry, that an overwhelming majority of people that drive pickup trucks are ignorant, aggressive, unthinking, inconsiderate, dangerous assbags. The current ratio of asshole pickup operators, to non-assholes is about 1 in 10. It's the facts. Cold, crazy, facts people.
